Integrated Programme on Master of Technology in Computer Science & Engineering (M Tech-Integrated (CSE))

Duration: Five years with ten semesters. (Admissions open for the batch 2018-19)

Eligibility: Passed in PUC/Higher secondary examination (10+2 pattern) or appearing in the current academic year with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics as major subjects from any state board within India, CBSE, ICSE, with minimum 50% aggregate in PCM. Admission needs valid score in JEE (MAINS)/SUAT.

About M Tech -CSE (Integrated):

Srinivas University’s Integrated M Tech in Computer Science & Engineering is aimed at nurturing and developing professionals of the high quality to cater to the needs of industry and academia. The credit based curriculum is focused on industry-linking, technology-orientation and research which mirrors the principles of Srinivas University of pursuit of knowledge. Apart from offering common core subjects, extends to its students the flexibility to select from a wide range of elective subjects, which enables them to gain domain knowledge and practice-oriented learning in the key aspects of Computer Science and Engineering—as well as latest academic insights into the salient advancements and emerging technologies. Through a transformational process involving courses, project, industrial visits, internships and other co-curricular components, this program seeks to create exceptional leaders trained to operate in tomorrow’s complex technology-oriented business environment. The Integrated M Tech program in CSE at SU, thus demands and encourages the students to explore and connect with the multiple dimensions of today’s Technological environment.

The advantages of pursuing an integrated program in engineering are varied. However a few may be listed as under:

  • Saving one year, i.e. integrated M. Tech is a 5 year program, whereas B. Tech and then M. Tech will take 6 years.
  • A Bachelor’s degree holder has good demand in many firms, but most of the firms require them to be experienced. An M. Tech holder on the other hand, gets more reputation for his achievement and will be duly considered with great preference by many firms. If you want to get a job as soon as possible, integrated M. Tech is the best option.
  • The overall program expenses would be lower in an integrated M. Tech degree course.
  • Five years of dedicated and determined study in Integrated M. Tech program can get you a great job with a big payroll, hence giving you a safe and secure future.
  • This course gives you deeper knowledge of specialized technical courses of M. Tech level.

Special Features of the Program:

  • Duration of the course is 5 years, including total of 10 semesters in which the final semester is dedicated to project work.
  • Classes are conducted 9:00 AM to 4:30 PM for 5 days a week and 9:00AM to 1:00 PM on Saturdays.
