Prof. Dr Ajay Kumar
Dr. Ajay Kumar is a visionary leader in physiotherapy education, combining academic expertise with strategic administration. He holds a Ph.D. in Physiotherapy, a Master’s in Orthopedics, a Diploma in Yoga Therapy, and a PGDM in Management.
Starting as a lecturer in 2001, he rose to Professor and Registrar (Development). He has guided numerous postgraduate students, served on university committees, and published widely on physiotherapy, biomechanics, and sports medicine. At Srinivas University, he has been instrumental in program design, academic regulations, research initiatives, and faculty development.
Dr. Ajay Kumar serves as the Registrar (Development) at Srinivas University, Mangaluru, Karnataka. With a professional background as both a physiotherapist and a professor, he brings over 25 years of academic and administrative experience to his role. His career encompasses leadership in university administration, active participation in research and development activities, and strategic management of compliance and innovation initiatives at the university level.
