The humanities encourage us to think creatively. They teach us to reason about being human and to ask questions about our world. The humanities develop informed and critical citizens.Since, its inception in 2009, the Department has played an important role in establishing relevant specializations such as English Language Teaching, Personality Development & Communication, Soft skills and Technical English Studies. It has an Atomic centre to guide and publish original work in the field. It is in the forefront in conducting Literary events and streamlining events and activities conducted in the college. The department prides itself in having its own lending Library to cater to the literary pursuits of the students. It also undertakes proofreading services to the faculty to enable them to publish articles in journals of repute.
