Institute of Physiotherapy, Srinivas University organized 2 days hands-on workshop on Cupping Therapy on 25th and 26th April 2023. The aim of the workshop was to teach analysis of joints and muscles, assessment of pain and the application of different cupping techniques. The workshop was held at city campus, Pandeshwar, Mangaluru. Dr. Rajasekar S, Dean of Institute of Physiotherapy addressed all the participants and introduced them to the resource person Dr. J. Mohammed Faizur Rahman. The workshop started with a brief outline on cupping therapy, its indications, red flags and yellow flags. Following this, practical and hands on skills demonstration was performed by resource person and participants practiced the techniques under his supervision. The participants were felicitated with certification of participation. Around 30 participants attended the workshop with great fervour. The workshop was very effective and informative.
