Course Duration

4 years including 12 months of Internship

Course Eligibility

A candidate seeking admission to B.Sc. Genetics and Molecular Biology must fulfill the following criteria:

Must be 17 years old by December 31st of the admission year.


Must have studied English as one of the main subjects.


Must have completed one of the following educational qualification


Pre-University examination (PUC) with Physics, Chemistry, and Biology.


Pre-Degree Course (PDC) from a recognized university, equivalent to PUC.


Any equivalent examination recognized by the university with Physics, Chemistry, and Biology.


Vocational Higher Secondary Education (VHSE) – Kerala Government, with Physics, Chemistry, Biology, and English.


Two-year diploma from a recognized board in a related subject with 10+2 in PCB.


Lateral entry into the second year for students with a three-year diploma in a relevant subject.
