M.Sc. in Cyber Security & Forensic Science

Cyber Forensics is a vital field of forensic science focused on the recovery and investigation of digital data. Whether it’s from a computer, mobile phone, cloud storage, or network system, each digital asset stores data differently—leading to specialized branches like computer forensics, network forensics, mobile forensics, and data analysis. This course provides a strong foundation in identifying, preserving, analyzing, and presenting electronic evidence—preparing students to tackle today’s rising cyber threats.

At the end the of the course each post graduate must

  • Have clear knowledge about the fundamentals and basic functioning of a computer and its different components.
  • Have a clear view about different programming language and software’s.
  • Have the ability to identify and solve issues related to the opted steam.
  • Develop ability for rational approach in solving professional problems and able to draw opinions and conclusions pertaining to his subject.
  • Acquire adequate skill and competence to complete various professional tasks presented to them.
  • Update this knowledge by attending seminars, symposiums and conferences.
  • Carry out research in the form of dissertation.
  • Develop good teaching and communication skills.

Our course is designed with unique syllabus where students will be trained with hand on experience in FTK, UFED, CELLBRITE software’s other subject related aspects. Our students are sent for placements so that they face the realistically true events and solve the given task with their innovative new ideas. We prepare our students with national and international level standards with more exposure to the subject and its contents.

Course Eligibility

The eligibility for admission to M.Sc. Cyber Forensics programme offered by Srinivas University is a B.Sc. Degree with Cyber Forensics / Computer Science / Information Technology / Electronics / Computer Applications or BCA or an equivalent degree with not less than 50% marks.
