M.Sc. in Emergency Medical Technology

The Master of Sciences in Emergency Medical Technology at Srinivas Institute of Allied Health Sciences, under Srinivas University, Mangalore, is a 2-year residency-based program that trains students to assist in interventional cardiology procedures and handle emergencies across departments like ICU, Pediatrics, Orthopedics, and more. Extensive clinical exposure in emergency departments, ICUs, ambulances, and trauma care centres. Mandatory research project or thesis to cultivate academic inquiry and analytical skills. Practical training through mock drills and real-time emergency simulations, including fire, earthquake, and mass casualty management. Focused training on patient communication, teamwork, documentation, and medico-legal aspects. Opportunities to earn certifications in BLS, ACLS, PALS, ATLS, and other emergency protocols. Career guidance, resume workshops, and placement assistance with ambulance services, hospitals, and disaster response agencies. Course Eligibility

  • To be eligible for an M.Sc. in Emergency Medical Technology, Candidate shall have passed a B.Sc. Accident & Emergency Care Technology (AECT)/ Trauma Care Technology (TCM)/ Emergency & Trauma Care Technology (ETCT)/Critical Care Technology (CCT)/Anaesthesia & Operation Theatre Technology (AOTT)/ Respiratory Therapy Technology (RTT) (regular mode) from a UGC-recognized University.
