Crime has evolved with society, and so has the science of understanding it. The Criminology program at Srinivas Institute of Allied Health Sciences, under Srinivas University, Mangalore, equips students to analyze the root causes of crime, understand criminal behavior, and explore the roles of victims, suspects, and witnesses. Through theory, practical sessions, and field exposure, students gain insights into crime scene investigation, gender-based criminality, rapport building, and forensic techniques—preparing them for careers in law enforcement, policy-making, and research.
