Master of Public Health (MPH)

Master of Public Health is a 2-year course designed to provide in depth knowledge & impart skills for working as an assistant to address public health challenges. The course focuses on epidemiology, biostatistics, health policy, environmental health, social and behavioral sciences, and health management, Global Health, Maternal and Child Health, Health Promotion, Infectious Disease Control, Fieldwork & Internships Practical training in hospitals, NGOs, government agencies, or research institutions. Research Project/Dissertation A mandatory component where students conduct public health research government health departments, NGOs, international organizations (WHO, UNICEF), research institutions, healthcare management, epidemiology, and policy-making.

Course Eligibility

Master of Public Health (MPH) program at Srinivas University varies depending on the applicant’s background.

Medical professionals: Graduates with degrees such as MBBS, BDS, BAMS, BHMS, BSMS, or BUMS are eligible to apply.

Nursing or nutrition graduates :Graduates with a B.Sc. in Nursing or B.Sc. in Nutrition are eligible to apply.

Science graduates: Graduates with a minimum of 55% aggregate are eligible to apply.

Other graduates: Graduates from all streams with a minimum of 60% marks are eligible to apply.

You may also need to meet a minimum aggregate of marks in your qualifying examination.
