  • The main objective of this program is to provide an additional knowledge in Cloud Technology, Cyber Security and Ethical hacking along with the basic BCA program.
  • Here the students learn the basic programming skills like HTML and CSS, server side scripting knowledge along with specialized subjects in Cloud domain.
  • The above program has a very good placement opportunity in Cloud domain with opportunities in developing Security related applications, providing security in cloud domain in addition to the development.

Course Syllabus
  • Each semester consists of 24 credit points and a total of 600 marks.
  • The first two semesters focus on building a solid foundation in the subjects.
  • The third semester focuses on data structures, algorithms, and the fundamentals of web development with a specialization paper on domain-specific.
  • The fourth semester focuses on the advanced programming language like python and java as core subjects with the specialisation paper on domain-specific.
  • The fifth semester focuses on MERN stack and PHP which provides idea about how to build a web application along with their specialization papers.
  • The sixth semester primarily focuses on project development, adhering to specific IT guidelines.

Course Duration

The duration of Bachelor in Computer Application shall extend over six/eight semesters (three/four academic years) of 16 weeks each. Each semester shall consist of 16 weeks of study (excluding the time spent for the conduct of final examination of each semester).

Course Eligibility

A candidate who has passed the two years Pre-University Examination in any stream conducted by the Pre University Education Board in the State of Karnataka or any other examination considered as equivalent thereto by Srinivas University is eligible for admission to BCA programme.
