MPT in Cardiopulmonary Sciences and Practice

The Master of Physiotherapy (MPT) is a two-year full-time postgraduate program designed under the Curriculum and Credit Framework for Post Graduate Programme (CCFPP). This specialization trains students in the evaluation and management of patients with cardiovascular and respiratory conditions. It includes hands-on experience in critical care physiotherapy, pulmonary rehabilitation, and cardiac rehabilitation. Graduates are well-suited for roles in ICUs, cardiopulmonary rehab centers, and tertiary care hospitals.

Course Eligibility

Candidates admitted into the Master of Physiotherapy course should have passed the BPT degree examination with 6 months of compulsory rotatory internship from this university or a recognized university (on campus, full time course) with a minimum of 50% aggregate. Candidates who have obtained the Bachelor degree from any other University shall obtain eligibility certificate from this University at the time of admission.
