MPT in Community Based Rehabilitation

The Master of Physiotherapy (MPT) is a two-year full-time postgraduate program designed under the Curriculum and Credit Framework for Post Graduate Programme (CCFPP). This specialization emphasizes delivering physiotherapy services within community settings, especially to underserved populations. Students learn strategies for disability prevention, inclusive rehabilitation, and community health promotion. Career opportunities include working with NGOs, public health programs, and community-based rehabilitation centers.

Course Eligibility

Candidates admitted into the Master of Physiotherapy course should have passed the BPT degree examination with 6 months of compulsory rotatory internship from this university or a recognized university (on campus, full time course) with a minimum of 50% aggregate. Candidates who have obtained the Bachelor degree from any other University shall obtain eligibility certificate from this University at the time of admission.
