MPT in Musculoskeletal Sciences and Sports Physiotherapy

The Master of Physiotherapy (MPT) is a two-year full-time postgraduate program designed under the Curriculum and Credit Framework for Post Graduate Programme (CCFPP). This specialization equips students with advanced clinical, research, and analytical skills, with a focused curriculum on the prevention, assessment, and rehabilitation of musculoskeletal and sports-related conditions. Through hands-on training in manual therapy, exercise prescription, and sports injury management, graduates are prepared for careers in sports teams, orthopedic clinics, fitness centers, and rehabilitation facilities.

Course Eligibility

Candidates admitted into the Master of Physiotherapy course should have passed the BPT degree examination with 6 months of compulsory rotatory internship from this university or a recognized university (on campus, full time course) with a minimum of 50% aggregate. Candidates who have obtained the Bachelor degree from any other University shall obtain eligibility certificate from this University at the time of admission.
