MPT in Obstetrics and Gynecology Practice

The Master of Physiotherapy (MPT) is a two-year full-time postgraduate program designed under the Curriculum and Credit Framework for Post Graduate Programme (CCFPP). This specialization prepares students to manage women’s health issues across the lifespan, including pregnancy, postnatal recovery, and pelvic floor dysfunctions. Training includes antenatal and postnatal care, pain management, and hormonal health rehabilitation. Graduates can work in maternity hospitals, wellness clinics, and women’s health centers.

Course Eligibility

Candidates admitted into the Master of Physiotherapy course should have passed the BPT degree examination with 6 months of compulsory rotatory internship from this university or a recognized university (on campus, full time course) with a minimum of 50% aggregate. Candidates who have obtained the Bachelor degree from any other University shall obtain eligibility certificate from this University at the time of admission.
