Respiratory diseases and disorders:- Airway Diseases, Infections, Tuberculosis, Thoracic Oncology, Interstitial and Environmental Lung Diseases, Pulmonary Vascular Disorders, Pleural, Mediastinal, and Diaphragmatic Disorders, Critical Care, Sleep-Related Disorders. Diagnostic and therapeutic procedures:-Pulmonary Function Testing (PFT), Interventional Pulmonology, Imaging, Thoracentesis and Biopsies, Critical Care Procedures
Research, ethics, and allied subjects:- Thesis, Public Health, Medical Ethics, Interdisciplinary Knowledge.

Course Eligibility

To be eligible for an MD in Respiratory Medicine in India, the Student must hold an MBBS degree from a Medical Council of India (now National Medical Commission)-recognized institution, complete one year of mandatory internship, and be registered with a State Medical Council. Admission is primarily based on score in the national NEET-PG entrance exam, with qualifying cutoffs varying by category.
