M.Sc. (Clinical Psychology)

Mental health care has come a long way since the last century. Awareness about mental health and behavior of seeking mental health care has increased in recent times. M.Sc Clinical Psychology is a post graduate program offered by Institute of Allied Health Sciences. The course aims to teach the students skills and competencies required for becoming a Clinical Psychologist.

Duration shall be for a period of 2 Years

ELIGIBILITY:

A or B.Sc. Psychology degree from a recognized university with an aggregate of at least 50% marks, students holding any other degree such as Bachelor of arts in psychology,BSC in Psychology or B.Ed. with Psychology Papers can also apply for MSc Psychology courses.

Post Graduates holding the above degree have immense scope to work as Psychologists in Hospitals both India and abroad in Corporate Hospitals, Medical Colleges, Nursing Home. They can also be employed in the teaching role in various Colleges in India and abroad.

The course fees mentioned for subsequent years may vary annually up to 6%. (2) The University Placement & Training Team will assist the admitted students to get (a) Earn While Learn, (b) Industry Internship, and (c) Final Job Placement. (3) Karnataka Quota* : 1. Applicable only to Karnataka students having 50% or more in the applicable subject combination. 2. To be considered as Karnataka domicile student should have studied 7 years including PUC in the Karnataka.
