Report on the Inauguration of Ameliorate 25: A Faculty Development and Empowerment Initiative

On January 15, 2025, the faculty and staff gathered with great enthusiasm for the inauguration of Ameliorate 25: A Faculty Development and Empowerment Initiative. The event, held at the campus, marked a significant milestone in the institution’s commitment to enhancing faculty skills, leadership abilities, and academic growth. This initiative, designed to uplift and empower the faculty, aims to provide a series of training programs, workshops, and leadership development opportunities, contributing to the continuous pursuit of excellence in education.The program began with a warm welcome from Mrs. Jeevitha, Assistant Professor, Department of Mental Health Nursing. She extended her greetings to all attendees and set the tone for the day’s proceedings. Ms. Varshitha, Assistant Professor, Department of Community Health Nursing, then led the assembly in a prayer song, invoking blessings for the success of the initiative. Mrs. Anjali Mendonca, Assistant Professor, the Department of Medical-Surgical Nursing, served as the host for the event, guiding the proceedings seamlessly.A symbolic lighting of the lamp ceremony followed, marking the official start of the initiative. She stressed the need for innovation, adaptability, and collaboration among faculty members in order to foster a thriving academic environment.The Dean, Dr. Juby Mary Chacko, addressed the gathering with words of encouragement, emphasizing the role of faculty in transforming education.
