Date: 28 October 2024 Venue: Srinivas University Institute of Dental Sciences Auditorium, Mukka Campus 3rd Floor TIME:11:00A.M The Orientation Program for Srinivas University was held with great anticipation and enthusiasm, designed to warmly welcome and inform the incoming students and their parents about the institution's ethos, structure, and opportunities. The venue was the well-appointed auditorium on the third floor of the Institute of Dental Sciences, Mukka Campus. As the clock struck 11:00 AM, the program was set into motion with a spirit of camaraderie and excitement. The reception team greeted all attendees as they arrived, guiding them to the registration desk, where students were registered before entering the hall. Inside the auditorium, the event commenced with a screening of an introductory video that encapsulated the rich heritage, values, and aspirations of Srinivas University. The responsibility of emceeing this significant occasion was gracefully handled by our assistant professors, Mrs. Anjali and Mrs. Jothsna, who ensured the smooth flow of events. To celebrate the arrival of our distinguished guests, a beautifully choreographed welcome dance was performed by our 3rd-semester nursing students, creating an atmosphere of tradition and respect that set the tone for the proceedings. Once the dance concluded, our esteemed guests were escorted onto the stage. Honored Guests Present at the Ceremony:Dr. CA A. Raghavendra Rao-Honorable Chancellor of Srinivas University ,Dr. Anil Kumar,-Registrar , Dr. Uday Kumar- Dean of the Medical College, Dr. Ramakrishna Hegde- Dean of Engineering , Dr. Reshma Pai- Dean of the Dental Sciences , Dr. Pavana- Dean of Allied Health Sciences ,Dr. David Rosariya- Medical Superintendent The event then transitioned into a solemn invocation, led by Assistant Professor Ms. Varshitha, This was followed by an inspiring welcome address by our Dean, Dr. Juby Mary Chacko, who extended her heartfelt greetings to all present. She introduced each of the dignitaries on stage, expressing gratitude for their presence and briefly highlighting their invaluable contributions to Srinivas University.To formally inaugurate the program, the dignitaries were invited to participate in the lighting of the ceremonial lamp. Following the inauguration, a series of addresses were delivered by the honorable Chancellor, Dr. CA A. Raghavendra Rao, Registrar Dr. Anil Kumar, and Dean Dr. Juby Mary Chacko. Each of these distinguished speakers shared insightful words on the values of education, the vision for the institution, and the responsibilities awaiting the students as they embark on their academic journeys. Dean Dr. Juby Mary Chacko then took the opportunity to guide parents and students through the essential aspects of university life. She provided a comprehensive overview of the university’s code of conduct, syllabus framework, examination schedules, and hostel rules and regulations, ensuring that everyone was well-informed about the expectations and support systems in place. To bring the program to a close, Mrs. Jothsna delivered the vote of thanks, expressing deep gratitude to all guests, parents, students, and organizing members who made the event a resounding success. Following the official ceremony, a lunch was arranged on the ground floor, allowing parents, students, and faculty to interact informally and fostering a sense of community as the event concluded. This memorable orientation program was a perfect blend of warmth, tradition, and information, setting a positive and encouraging tone for the students’ journey at Srinivas University.
