Annual Sports meet of Institute of Nursing Sciences, Srinivas University, Mukka was held on 04/02/2023 at Dental College Ground from 9.30 AM to 5 PM.All students of Institute of Nursing Sciences, Srinivas University, Mukka were divided into 4 germ groups (Emerald, Ruby, Onyx, Sapphire), each group consisting of nearly 50 students. This was done to maintain a fair game, with equal chance to everybody.The programme commenced with a prayer song from 1st year B.Sc. Nursing students. Ms.Supriya Adaiga, Mr. Ganesh Kumar and Mr.Pranam Shetty Physical Education Directors of Pandeshwar, Mukka and Valachil campuses were the chief guests of the sports. All the athletes marched with their germ colour dresses. It was a grand sight to see the athletes march with measured footsteps and the swinging of the arms. Dean Dr.N. M. Jose welcomed the esteemed chief guest, gathering and emphasized on the importance of sports in one's life. He also motivated students to play sports in serious manner so that they could further compete in University and state level competitions. The sports day inaugural ceremony was done by playing cricket by Chief Guest and Dean.The sports event started with Short put followed by running race (400 m, 200 m, 100 m) in the morning and in the afternoon football, Thowball and Tug of War. Chief Guests and faculty members congratulated the prize winners.
