Eligibility : PUC/12th with Physics, Chemistry and Biology with 50 % Marks
The classes will be held at the Institute of Physiotherapy, City campus, Pandeshwar, Mangaluru and Srinivas Institute of Medical Sciences & Hospital, Mukka, Mangaluru.

About the Programme :

The Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) is a six-year full-time academic program with yearly examinations. After passing the fifth year of education, the student will undergo one year of compulsory rotatory internship in various clinical departments.

The DPT program is generic in nature and the curriculum is developed based on CAPTA guidelines to focus on career development. It is an instructional package developed to suit the needs of students to keep pace with the developments in higher education and the quality assurance expected of it in light of liberalization and globalization in higher education.

They can work in Government Hospitals and corporate hospitals, establish private practice, can work in primary health centres, educational institutions, Rehabilitation centres, research centres community centres and sports teams.

Clinical Training:

Students will find clinical training an invaluable supplement to the theoretical sessions. They will develop a broad foundation of applying physiotherapy knowledge to assessment and management skills. At present, the Institute gives its students training through:
