Srinivas University Mangalore celebrated International Womens Day on 8th March 2022 in its Pandeshwara City campus Mangalore.On this occasion, N.Shashi Kumar IPS, DIGP, City Police Commissioner of Mangalore was Chief Guest. During his inaugural address, he emphasized the importance of women's economic and financial freedom and empowerment.Dr A. Srinivas Rao, Honorable Pro-Chancellor of Srinivas University and Vice-President of the A ShamRao Foundation presided over the program and spoke about women's equality. Dr P.S Aithal, Vice-Chancellor of Srinivasa University, Dr Sathya SaiKumar, Pro-Vice-Chancellor, Dr Ajay Kumar, Registrar of Development, Prof. Swaminathan, Dean of the Institute of Hotel Management and Tourism, Dr Jayashree Bolar, Dean, Institute of Education, Prof. Pavithra Kumari, Dean, Institute of Aviation Studies, were also present.Ms. Vishnu Priya, a Guinness Book of World Records holder and well-known roller skate dancer, opened the show with a welcome dance. Students from the Institute of Education rendered prayer.Mrs. Shamita Alva, student, Institute of Education welcomed and greeted.Prof. Kavyashree, Faculty member, Institute of Aviation Studies has compered the program. Ms. Aishwarya, student of Institute of Aviation Studies proposed a vote of thanks.
