In a display of impressive precision and keen strategy, Carom Tournament took place at Institute of Aviation Studies, Srinivas University on 17 Oct 2023. The event attracted carom enthusiasts of the Aviation Studies, who competed in a thrilling contest that showcased their remarkable skills and sportsmanship.The tournament began with a sense of excitement as students gathered to participate in the competition. The event featured doubles categories, giving players the opportunity to demonstrate their carom prowess in a team or individual setting.The match was characterized by an atmosphere of intense concentration and a determination to evade opponents. As the tournament progressed, several standout players emerged, showcasing remarkable control over the carom board. The tournament was co-ordinated by the sports coordinator Mrs. Bhagyashree and under the supervision of Physical Education Director Mrs. Supriya Adiga. The winners of the Carrom Tournament were from the team Akrodha, Mohammed Suhan Saheb (II year BBA Aviation Management) & Mubasher M V (I year BBA Aviation Management) and the runners-up were from the team Greeshma, Anusha (III year BBA Aviation Management) and Mohammed Anas (II year BBA Aviation and Logistics Management). The carrom tournament was not only a test of skill but also an opportunity for students to come together, build friendships, and celebrate their shared passion for this classic board game.
