Institute of Aviation Studies Joins Walkathon for Indian Coast Guard’s 49th Raising Day
The Institute of Aviation Studies, Srinivas University, participated in a walkathon on January 24, 2025, as part of the Coast Guard Week Celebration, honoring the 49th Raising Day of the Indian Coast Guard. A total of 130 BBA (Aviation Management) and BBA (Aviation and Logistics Management) students took part, demonstrating their commitment to fitness and patriotism.The 8-kilometer walkathon started at 6:30 AM from Tannirbhavi Beach and ended at Indian Coast Guard District Headquarters No. 3, paying tribute to the bravery and dedication of Coast Guard personnel. Dr. Pavithra Kumari, Dean, Institute of Aviation Studies, Srinivas University along with faculty and students, actively participated, promoting fitness, environmental awareness, and community engagement.The event showcased the institute’s dedication to national initiatives, making it a memorable and meaningful experience for all involved.
