Srinivas University, Institute of Aviation Studies Organises UG Orientation Programme The UG Orientation Program 2025 organized by the Institute of Aviation Studies, Srinivas University, was held on 7th July 2025. The event commenced with a solemn prayer led by Mr. Abhishek from Student Aviation, seeking blessings for a successful academic journey. Dr. Pavithra Kumari, Dean, Institute of Aviation Studies, formally welcomed the gathering with inspiring words. This was followed by the ceremonial presentation of saplings to the dignitaries, symbolizing growth and new beginnings. All dignitaries then joined together for the traditional lamp-lighting ceremony, representing the dispelling of darkness and the pursuit of knowledge. The chief guest for the programme was the Honourable Pro-Chancellor and Vice President of the Srinivas Group of Institutions, Dr. A Srinivas Rao., delivered a powerful and motivational speech to the students. He highlighted that aviation is a field that requires a strong personality and praised the active participation and achievements of Srinivas University students in competitions. Smt. A. Vijayalakshmi R. Rao, Trustee Member, who addressed the gathering and shower the new joinees with her blessings. Prof. Er. Smt. A. Mitra S. Rao, another Trustee Member, then addressed the audience and administered the Oath to the newly inducted students, instilling in them a sense of responsibility and commitment. Dr. K. Satyanarayan Reddy, Vice Chancellor of Srinivas University, also addressed the students, sharing valuable insights and expectations. Later, Senior students gave their feedback and shared experiences, while the freshers expressed their excitement and expectations about college life. Ms. Anjana T V Head of the Department of Institute of Aviation Studies, gave the students an overview of the course. The event concluded with a heartfelt vote of thanks proposed by Ms. Varshitha, Assistant Professor, followed by the National Anthem. The orientation day served as an excellent platform to bridge the gap between the students and the institution, setting a positive tone for the academic journey ahead.
