Rang 2K23 the festive of Vibrant colors was celebrated with the splatter of colors at Srinivas University on Tuesday, 7th March 2022. The Holi celebration was organized jointly by the Institute of Aviation Studies, the Institute of Hotel Management, and the Department of Interior Design at the City Campus, Pandeshwara. These vibrant hues are thought to represent vitality, enthusiasm, and energy. The festival marks the end of winter and the abundance of the upcoming spring harvest season. The Srinivas students celebrated the arrival of spring, the season of hope, with music, dances, and vibrant colours, which were the festival's main attractions. Under guidance and blessings of Dr CA A. Raghavendra Rao, Honourable Chancellor and A Vijayalakshmi R Rao, Trustee-member, Board of Governors, Srinivas University, Mangaluru, the president of the programme Dr A Srinivas Rao, Honourable Pro-Chancellor, Srinivas University, traditionally inaugurated the programme by distributing the colors to the students. Prof A Mitra S Rao Trustee-member, Board of governors, Srinivas University, was the chief guest of the programme.Dr P S Aithal, vice chancellor, Srinivas University, and Dr Ajay Kumar, registrar (development) of Srinivas University were the guests of Honour.Prof Swaminathan S, Dean, Institute of Hotel Management & Tourism, and Dr. Pavithra Kumari, Dean, Institute of Aviation Studies were also present on the occasion.
