Mangalore: College of Aviation Studies, Srinivas University had conducted virtual World Environment Day celebration on Saturday 5th June 2021 NSS and Social service wing College of Aviation Studies, Srinivas University virtually organised various activities such as planting saplings and discussion on environmental issues were held. Guest of Honour, Former Director, Mangalore International Airport and Chairperson, College of Aviation Studies Prof .M.R.Vasudeva, Special Guests Associate Professor Dept. of chemistry-SUCET, Mukka Dr.Shubra Jyotsna Aithal and Research Director College of Management and Commerce Dr.Shailashree V.T presided over the function and inspired the students to work collectively for the protection of Earth and emphasised on the need to build a greener world. Chief Guest Vice chancellor Srinivas University Dr.P.S.Aithal said the objective of celebrating Environment Day was to make younger generation more sensitive towards environmental protection .The program was concluded with vote of Thanks by Course Coordinator of BBA Aviation Studies Prof Kavyashree. Around 254 Students had actively participated in the entire event. The event has been planned and coordinated by Prof. Jayaprakash, NSS and Unnath Bharath Coordinator under the guidance of Prof Pavitra Kumari,Dean - College of Aviation Studies, Srinivas University. The faculty members of Aviation College were present for the program.
