In a recent educational initiative aimed at offering real-world insights to budding aviation professionals, students of the Institute of Aviation Studies, Srinivas University from the course B.B.A. Aviation Management, B.B.A. Aviation Logistics Management, B.B.A. Aviation Travel and Tourism, M.B.A. Aviation Management from the Institute of Aviation Studies, Srinivas University had the unique opportunity to embark on an enlightening industrial visit to CAFS at Kenjar Mangalore. The visit, organized from 9 Oct 2023 to 12 Oct 2023. The students were divided in to 4 batches which allowed students to gain a comprehensive understanding of the operations and intricacies of flight catering services.The students were warmly welcomed by the CAFS Flight Catering team, who graciously opened their doors to our eager students. Under the guidance of CAFS staff, the students were led on an informative tour through the state-of-the-art facilities where every meal prepared for flights is a masterpiece.During the visit, students had the privilege of witnessing the meticulous food preparation processes. From meal planning and cooking to packaging and quality control, they observed every step involved in delivering delectable in-flight cuisine.In addition to the guided tour, students were engaged in interactive sessions where they had the opportunity to ask questions and seek insights from the experienced CAFS staff. This interactive component allowed them to connect theoretical knowledge with practical applications, fostering a deeper understanding of the industry.The industrial visit to CAFS Flight Catering was an unforgettable experience for students, igniting their passion for aviation catering and offering a glimpse into the industry's future. It was an educational journey that encouraged students to strive for excellence and innovation in the field.
