Srinivas University, Institute of Aviation Studies Organised Bottle Painting Competition Pot It Green and Paper Painting Competition Brushes for the Biosphere.

As part of the World Environment Day celebrations on 5th June 2025, the Institute ofAviation Studies, Srinivas University, organized two creative art competitions—BottlePainting titled “Pot It Green” and Paper Painting titled “Brushes for the Biosphere.” Bothevents were held with the support and encouragement of Dean, Dr. Pavithra Kumari andHOD Anjana T.V Institute of Aviation Studies, who actively promotes activities that nurturestudent creativity and environmental awareness.The Bottle Painting competition followed the theme “From Waste to Wonder,” inspiringstudents to creatively reuse discarded bottles and transform them into beautiful and useful artpieces. Seven participants, working in teams of two from BBA Aviation Management, BBAAviation & Logistics Management, and BBA Aviation Travel and Tourism Managementcourses, took part in this event. The first place was awarded to Gloriya Gabriel Noronha andMartha Martin Fernandes from II BBA Aviation Management, while the second place went toAkash A and Ismail E V from II BBA Aviation & Logistics Management.Simultaneously, the Paper Painting competition encouraged students to capture “The Beautyof Nature” through their artwork, promoting emotional connection and appreciation for theenvironment. Six participants from undergraduate and postgraduate aviation coursesshowcased their talent, with Abhishek Bin Subash from II BBA Aviation & LogisticsManagement winning the undergraduate category and Haarith Ahamed from I MBA AviationManagement securing the postgraduate top spot. Both competitions successfully highlightedthe importance of environmental sensitivity and offered students a meaningful platform toexpress their concerns and love for nature through artistic creativity.
