RESILIENCE, INNOVATION & REINVENTION – COPING WITH TURBULENT TIMES
The 19th annual conference of the Institute of Management & Commerce of Srinivas University was held in an online mode is association with ISMASI, Azteca University, Mexico. North America. “Resilience, Innovation & Reinvention - coping with turbulent times” was the main theme of the conference. The conference was patronized by Dr. CA. A. Raghavendra Rao, Chancellor, Srinivas University, Dr. A. Srinivas Rao, Pro – Chancellor, Srinivas University , Smt. Vijaylakshmi R. Rao, Direcor, Vijaylakshmi Group of Institutions and Smt. Mitra S. Rao, Secretary, A. Shama Rao Foundation.
The Vice Chancellor, Dr. P.S. Aithal presided over the inaugural session and talked on the need to stay updated to cope with the turbulent times brought about as now due to the pandemic and elaborated how countries are borderless now due to the advent of online communications techonology which has changed many aspects of our livelihood.
Chief Guest, Dr. Ricardo Saveedra, Chief mentor, Director & Chair of International Programs of Azteca University, Mexico, who connected in from North America stressed on the need for global exposure to the youth of today and congratulated Srinivas University on giving a lot of international exposure to its students which will help them greatly.
Dr. P. K. Paul, Research Director of Raiganj University, West Bengal facilitated the techinical presentation committee as session Chair. The Keynote speakers were Dr. Kenneth Okeafor, Alumnus Scholar of Azteca university and currently the Chairman of the National Health Insurance Services at Nigeria spoke on the need for and importance of cybersecurity in healthcare.
Dr. G D Singh , who is the founder chairman of the Adrican Asian Chamber of Commerce & Industry is global citizen gave a lot of insights into the global business scenario, and guides on how to become a successful business professional. Dr. Narayan Kayarkatte, Research Professor, Srinivas Univsersity stressed on the need for personal developemnt to stay ahead and to stay afloat in today turbulent competitive world.
The conference had received 107 papers and were presented in three technical sessions throughout the day. There was a lot of knowedge sharing, learning and more than 380 participants had joined the online conference and participated in it.
Prof. Keerthana Raj, Dean, Institute of Management & Commerce welcomed the audience, Prof. Amith Menezes, Coordinator of the MBA program convened the conference. Dr. Sonia Noronha, Coordinator of BBA in Port, Shipping Management & Logistics Program delivered the vote of thanks.

- " Uncertainties & Challenges in the Uncertain Times" held on December 12, 2020
Conference Date : 12th December 2020Srinivas University, Institute of Management & Commerce organized the 18th one day National Virtual Conference, MANEGMA 2020, on the topic " Uncertainties & Challenges in the Uncertain Times" on December 12, 2020. The conference was conducted in a complete online manner owing to the pandemic in line with today's essentialities. More than 100 participants participated online and many more viewed the proceedings through online social media link. 35 papers were received and presented by researchers nationally.
Chancellor Sri. CA A. Raghavendra Rao & president of A. Shama Rao foundation, Dr. A. Srinivas Rao, Pro - Chancellor, Registrar Dr. A. Anil Kumar participated in the conference inaugural. Vice Chancellor, Dr. P.S. Aithal in the inaugural address elaborated on the university's research focus to give a better advantage to society and it's development and also released the Book of Abstracts. Dr. Ganesh H R. Leading management consultant and CEO of Gramma Consulting , Bangalore gave his insights on the trends & challenges for business & management in today's day & age in his keynote address. Dr. Mathew C . D. Adjunct faculty of IIIT, Kottayam also delivered the keynote address. Prof. Keerthan Raj, Dean of the Institute of Management & Commerce welcomed the participants & delegates, Prof. Amith Menezes, spoke about Manegma as Convenor of the conference. The conference was the first in a series of conferences planned by the university in the coming days.
