LIBRARY RULES


    • While entering the Library, all members are requested to leave their belongings in the property counter. They can be collected back while leaving the library. The Librarian/College Management shall not e responsible for the loss of their belongings at the counter.
    • Each and every users of the Library must enter their name and time of entering and leaving the Library, in a gate register kept in the entrance.
    • All Members should be were Mask Compulsory entering into the Library.
    • Only notebooks and the Library books to be returned will be allowed inside the library.
    • All the readers are advised not to leave their valuables at the Check Point. Library is not responsible for any loss of personal belongings.
    • All files, books and notebooks must be presented to the library staff at any time if asked for inspection while leaving the Library. Library does not permit any exception in the observance of this rule.
    • Institute ID card should be compulsory entering into the library.
    • Books removed from the shelves by students, if not required for reference, should be kept on the book trolley or on table nearest to them. Please do not try to shelve them yourself. Please remember that a book misplaced is a book lost.
    • The newspaper(s) should be folded properly after reading and kept back in the designated place.
    • Readers should not deface, mark, cut, mutilate or damage library resources in any way. If anyone is found doing so, he will be charged the full replacement cost of the resource.
    • Borrowers, faculty, staff going on the leave with or without salary, deputation, study leave will have to return all borrowed material before leaving Institute.
    • There will be a fine of Rs. 2.00 per day overdue per day.
    • For the loss of Library Card, a fine of Rs.50/- each will be charged.
    • Students are advised not to issue Books to others on their names.
    • Reference Documents like Dictionary, Encyclopedia, Year Books, Journals (Loose & Bound), Theses, Project Reports, Census, Handbooks will not be issued out.
    • Conversation and discussion disturbs library ambience. Therefore, all are requested to maintain dignified silence. If discussion is necessary, the common room should be utilized for the same.
    • Smoking is not permitted in the Library.
    • All users are requested to keep their mobiles switched off or Silent Mode in the Library.
    • Beverages and Eatables are not allowed inside the library.
    • No visitor or guest is permitted to use the Library without the prior permission of the Librarian. He/She is required to produce a proper introduction letter from the concerned Institution/Organization to which he/she is attached.
    No photograph of the Library shall be taken without the prior permission of the Librarian.
    • The Librarian reserves the right to call back any issued book/item at any time.
    • All students are advised to come to the Library in decent dress as they are in the classrooms. Wearing Bermuda & strip tops are not allowed in the Library.

Rules and Regulations of Digital Library

    • Identity card must be presented and deposited before using the digital library facility.
    • Strict silence must be observed in the Digital library at all times.
    • CD/DVDs should not to be taken outside the Library.
    • Changing the settings and display of the Computers kept in the Digital Library are not allowed.
    • Recreational Activity like Playing games, Online Chatting and Accessing Social Networking sites are Prohibited.
    • Browsing of Dating, Networking of friendship and porn website is strictly prohibited. Strict disciplinary action will be taken against the defaulters.
    • Downloading, Installing and running of software other than those already installed on the computer station not allowed.
    • Illegal / Unlawful activities such as hacking, deleting of files, Changing/ Tweaking of system configuration /passwords resulting damage of system and network are prohibited.
