Srinivas University College of Hotel Management & Tourism, organized a National Level Virtual Conference on the theme ”CHANGING TRENDS AND CHALLENGES FACED BY HOSPITALITY, TOURISM, EDUCATION AND MANAGEMENT IN CURRENT PANDEMIC” on 30th December 2021 at its City Campus, Pandeshwar, Mangalore. Mr. Ritesh G Ail, Director, Food & Beverages, Sheraton Grand Chennai, Resort & Spa, was the inaugurator of the programme.Mr. Ritesh G Ail, highlighted the major changes in the sectors of Tourism and Hospitality with facts and figures in view of the reviving hospitality business owing to uncertain rise and fall of pandemic and illustrated the major steps taken by the hotels to cope with the uncertainty.Prof. S Swaminathan, Dean, welcomed the dignitaries and delegates to the virtual programme. Mr.Subrat Saraf, Convener of the conference addressed the delegates on the theme of the conference. Mr.Arjun K, Organising Secretary delivered the Vote of thanks. Prof. Varghese Johnson, St. Josephs Institute of Hotel Management & Catering Technology, Pala, Kerala and Prof. Priyadhersini S, Psychologist, Srinivas University, College of Allied Health Sciences, Mangalore were the key notes speakers of the conference.Dr. P S Aithal, Vice Chancellor, Srinivas University released the Abstract books and Conference Proceedings (ISBN Number 978-81-944670-3-8) received from various researchers and intellectuals across India. Many professors and research scholars from various colleges presented their paper on the theme.
