Srinivas University Institute of Hotel Management and Tourism organized and celebrated Freshers' Day PRARAMBH 2021-22 on 5th of March 2022 at Srinivas University City Campus, Pandeshwara, Mangalore.Mr. Likith Kaushik, Food & Beverage Manager, Hotel Ocean Pearl Inn Bejai, Mangalore was the Chief Guest of the programme. During his speech to the freshers, Mr. Likith enlightened the freshers about the glamour and opportunities that the hospitality industry holds and encouraged them to be passionate while choosing their career path. Dr. Sathya Sai Kumar, Pro Vice Chancellor, Srinivas University and Mr. Upendra Singh Rawat, General Manager, Srinivas Verda Saffron, Mangalore were the Guests of Honour on the occasion. Dr. Sathya Sai Kumar, during his speech to the freshers, gave a glimpse of the current global scenario of the hospitality sector and focused on being more innovative to excel in this field. Prof. Swaminathan S, Dean, Institute of Hotel Management and Tourism, while delivering the Presidential remarks on behalf of Dr. CA A. Raghavendra Rao, Chancellor, Srinivas University, in his speech encouraged the freshers to always be positive in all professional endeavors and leave no stone unturned to gain the best knowledge and skills.On this occasion, Ms. Shetty Megha Shivanand, student of II Year BHMCT welcomed the gathering and Ms. Shetty Shravya Sudhakar, student of II Year BHMCT delivered the vote of thanks. The Formal programme, Cultural programme, cake cutting ceremony and the sumptuous lunch were the main highlights of the programme
