The Srinivas University, College of Management and Commerce’s MBA and MCOM Department organized a two days National Level Post-Graduate Business Management Festival “MAGMA 2019” on the theme “MAGMACIAN – Management with Magical Minds” on 21st & 22nd OCTOBER 2019 at City Campus, Pandeshwar, Mangalore. The formal inauguration of the festival was held on 22nd October 2019 at City Campus, Pandeshwara, Mangalore. The inaugural ceremony was presided over by Dr. A. Srinivas Rao – Pro Chancellor, Srinivas University. He advised the students in every field there is a magic, which can be in a micro, mini and macro levels. He said Magician is successful when he is able to manage any challenges. Mr. Santhosh Giri – CEO, Catalyst Portfolio Management Service, Kolkata and National Geography Wild Life Photographer was the Chief Guest who inaugurated the program by lighting the lamp and further motivated the participants to be confident to make magic in their own quests. The Guests of Honor Dr. Raja K. G. Proprietor – Libey Custom Tees Mangaluru promised to associate with Magma next year in a larger scale. Mr. Nishank Suvarna – Managing Partner, Hotel Roopa, Mangalore wished success to students in all events and Srinivas University MBA Alumni Mr. Darren Monteiro – Axis Bank Mangalore’s Deputy Manager persuaded the students with relevant industry examples. Dr. P. S. Aithal – Vice Chancellor of Srinivas University spoke on MBA and MCOM Students for whom the concept of magic is very relevant to take ideal decisions. Prof. Dr. Ajay Kumar – Registrar Development SU was present on the Stage. The Faculty Convener of the Fest Prof. Anumesh Kariappa gave the introductory theme of the event. The Dean of Commerce and Management Dr. Shailashree V. T. welcomed the gathering. Mr. Karthik Nayak the Student Co-ordinator delivered the vote of thanks. The Management Festival will feature 8 events from the Business Sphere involving The Alchemist for Best Manager, The Wallendas for Best Management Team, The Jugglers for Finance, The Enchanters for Marketing, The Trapezers for Aviation, The Conjuror for HR, The Spell-caster for Business Quiz and The Illusionist for Photography of professional domains of Management and Market. The Special Attraction for MAGMACIAN 2019, was a Magic Entertainment by World renowned Magician and Illusionist Mr. Shreekanth Indra who mesmerized the crowd. The Magmacian MAGMA 2019 received an overwhelming response from Students and Institutions across India. Around 30 teams from various Business Schools and Management Institutions participated for this event.

ಶ್ರೀನಿವಾಸ್ ವಿಶ್ವವಿದ್ಯಾಲಯದಲ್ಲಿ ಮ್ಯಾಗ್ಮಾ – 2019 ಅಂತರ ಕಾಲೇಜು ಸ್ನಾತಕೋತ್ತರ ಸ್ಪರ್ಧೋತ್ಸವ ಮಂಗಳೂರು ಅ. 22 : ಶ್ರೀನಿವಾಸ್ ವಿಶ್ವವಿದ್ಯಾಲಯದ ಕಾಲೇಜ್ ಆಫ್ ಮ್ಯಾನೇಜ್‍ಮೆಂಟ್ ಆ್ಯಂಡ್ ಕಾಮರ್ಸ್‍ನ ಎಂ.ಬಿ.ಎ. ಮತ್ತು ಎಂ.ಕಾಂ. ಸ್ನಾತಕೋತ್ತರ ವಿಭಾಗದ ವತಿಯಿಂದ 2 ದಿನಗಳ ರಾಷ್ಟ್ರೀಯ ಮಟ್ಟದ ಸ್ನಾತಕೋತ್ತರ ವಿಭಾಗಗಳ ಅಂತರ ಕಾಲೇಜು ಸ್ನಾತಕೋತ್ತರ ಸ್ಪರ್ಧೋತ್ಸವ “ಮ್ಯಾಗ್ಮಾ – 2019 ಮ್ಯಾಗ್ಮೇಶಿಯನ್ ಮ್ಯಾನೇಜ್‍ಮೆಂಟ್ ವಿತ್ ಮ್ಯಾಜಿಕಲ್ ಮೈಂಡ್ಸ್“ ವು ಶ್ರೀನಿವಾಸ್ ವಿಶ್ವವಿದ್ಯಾಲಯದ ಸಿಟಿ ಕ್ಯಾಂಪಸ್ ಪಾಂಡೇಶ್ವರದಲ್ಲಿ 2019ನೇ ಅಕ್ಟೋಬರ್ 21 ಹಾಗೂ 22 ರಂದು ಆಯೋಜಿಸಲಾಯಿತು. ಮುಖ್ಯ ಅತಿಥಿಗಳಾಗಿ ಆಗಮಿಸಿದ್ದ ಕೆÀಟಲಿಸ್ಟ್ ಪೋರ್ಟ್ ಫೆÇೀಲಿಯೋದ ಮ್ಯಾನೇಜ್‍ಮೆಮಟ್ ಸರ್ವಿಸ್‍ನ ಸಿಇಓ ಮತ್ತು ನ್ಯಾಶನಲ್ ಜಿಯೋಗ್ರಫಿಯ ವೈಲ್ಡ್‍ಲೈಫ್ ಛಾಯಾಗ್ರಾಹಕ ಶ್ರೀ ಸಂತೋಷ್ ಗಿರಿ ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮವನ್ನು ಉದ್ಘಾಟಿಸಿ, ಕೇವಲ ಸ್ಪರ್ಧೆಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಮಾತ್ರವಲ್ಲದೆ, ತಮ್ಮ ಜೀವನದಲ್ಲಿಯೂ ಮ್ಯಾಜಿಕ್ ಮಾಡಲು ತಯಾರಿರಬೇಕು ಎಂದು ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳಿಗೆ ಪ್ರೇರೇಪಿಸಿದರು. ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮದ ಅಧ್ಯಕ್ಷತೆ ವಹಿಸಿ ಮಾತನಾಡಿದ ಶ್ರೀನಿವಾಸ್ ವಿಶ್ವವಿದ್ಯಾನಿಲಯದ ಸಹ ಕುಲಾಧಿಪತಿ ಡಾ. ಎ. ಶ್ರೀನಿವಾಸ್ ರಾವ್, ಪ್ರತಿಯೊಂದು ಕ್ಷೇತ್ರದಲ್ಲೂ ಸಣ್ಣ, ಮಧ್ಯಮ ಹಾಗೂ ಬೃಹತ್ ಪ್ರಮಾಣಗಳಲ್ಲೂ ಯಾವುದೇ ರೀತಿಯ ಮ್ಯಾಜಿಕ್‍ಗಳಾಗಬಹುದು. ಅಂತೆಯೇ ಪ್ರತಿಯೊಬ್ಬನೂ ಸವಾಲುಗಳನ್ನು ನಿರ್ವಹಿಸಿದಾಗ ತಾನು ಮಾಡುವ ಕೆಲಸದಲ್ಲಿ ಉತ್ತಮ ಜಾದೂಗಾರನಾಗಲು ಸಾಧ್ಯ ಎಂದು ಹೇಳಿದರು. ಶ್ರೀನಿವಾಸ್ ವಿಶ್ವವಿದ್ಯಾಲಯದ ಕುಲಪತಿ ಡಾ. ಪಿ. ಎಸ್. ಐತಾಳ್ ಮಾತನಾಡಿ, ಎಂ.ಬಿ.ಎ. ಮತ್ತು ಎಂ.ಕಾಂ. ವಿಭಾಗದ ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳು ಇತರೆ ಸ್ನಾತಕೋತ್ತರ ವಿಭಾಗದ ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳಿಗಿಂತ ಭಿನ್ನ. ಈ ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳಿಗೆ ಸ್ವಂತ ಹಾಗೂ ಉತ್ತಮ ನಿರ್ಧಾರಗಳನ್ನು ಕೈಗೊಳ್ಳುವ ತಿಳುವಳಿಕೆಯಿರುತ್ತದೆ ಎಂದರು. ಗೌರವ ಅತಿಥಿಗಳಾಗಿ ಆಗಮಿಸಿದ್ದ ಲಿಭೆ ಕಸ್ಟಂ ಟೀಸ್‍ನ ಮಾಲಕ ಡಾ. ರಾಜ ಕೆ. ಜಿ., ಹೊಟೇಲ್ ರೂಪದ ವ್ಯವಸ್ಥಾಪಕ ಪಾಲುದಾರ ಶ್ರೀ ನಿಶಾಂಕ್ ಸುವರ್ಣ, ಎಂ.ಬಿ.ಎ. ಹಳೆ ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿ ಹಾಗೂ ಆಕ್ಸಿಸ್ ಬ್ಯಾಂಕ್ ಮಂಗಳೂರಿನ ಉಪ ವ್ಯವಸ್ಥಾಪಕ ಶ್ರೀ ಡ್ಯಾರೆನ್ ಮೊಂತೆರೋ, ಶ್ರೀನಿವಾಸ್ ವಿಶ್ವವಿದ್ಯಾಲಯದ ಕುಲಸಚಿವ (ಅಭಿವೃದ್ಧಿ) ಡಾ. ಅಜಯ್ ಕುಮಾರ್ ವೇದಿಕೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಉಪಸ್ಥಿತರಿದ್ದರು. ಕಾಲೇಜ್ ಆಫ್ ಮ್ಯಾನೇಜ್‍ಮೆಂಟ್ ಮತ್ತು ಕಾಮರ್ಸ್‍ನ ಡೀನರಾದ ಡಾ. ಶೈಲಶ್ರೀ ವಿ.ಟಿ. ನೆರೆದ ಸಭಿಕರನ್ನು ಸ್ವಾಗತಿಸಿದರು. ಮ್ಯಾಗ್ಮಾದ ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿ ಸಂಚಾಲಕ ಶ್ರೀ ಕಾರ್ತಿಕ್ ನಾಯಕ್ ವಂದಿಸಿದರು. ಈ ಸ್ಪರ್ಧೋತ್ಸವದ ಸಂಚಾಲಕರಾದ ಪ್ರೊ. ಅನುಮೇಶ್ ಕಾರಿಯಪ್ಪ ಸ್ಪರ್ಧೋತ್ಸವದ ಬಗ್ಗೆ ಸಭಿಕರಿಗೆ ಮಾಹಿತಿ ನೀಡಿದರು. ಸುಮಾರು 30 ವಿದ್ಯಾ ಸಂಸ್ಥೆಗಳ ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳು ಈ ಸ್ಪರ್ಧೋತ್ಸವದಲ್ಲಿ ಪಾಲ್ಗೊಂಡು ಸ್ಪರ್ಧೋತ್ಸವದ ವಿವಿಧ ವಿಭಾಗಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಭಾಗವಹಿಸಿ ತಮ್ಮ ಪ್ರೌಢಿಮೆ ಪ್ರದರ್ಶಿಸಿದರು. ಮ್ಯಾಗ್ಮಾದ ಪ್ರಮುಖ ಆಕರ್ಷಣೆಯಾಗಿ ಜಾದೂಗಾರ, ಇಲ್ಯೂಷನಿಸ್ಟ್. ಬೆಂಗಳೂರಿನ ಶ್ರೀಕಾಂತ್ ಇವ್ರರಿಂದ ಮ್ಯಾಜಿಕ್ ಶೋವನ್ನು ಪ್ರದರ್ಶಿಸಿದರು.
