Institute of Physiotherapy, Srinivas University in collaboration with Charles Institute, Mumbai organized 2nd American Heart Association (AHA) certified Basic Life Support (BLS) provider course in Hotel Saffron on 18th October 2024 from 09.00 am to 05.00 pm. 3 faculty members and 29 post graduate students of Institute of Physiotherapy attended the much needed life saving BLS provider course. Dr. Rajasekar S, Dean, Institute of Physiotherapy inaugurated the certification course. Mr. Arun, BLS course coordinator from Charles Institute with technician Mr. Anandhu conducted the course effectively. Dr. Rajasekar S, Dr. M. Premkumar and Dr. Madhuripu P, AHA certified BLS instructors from our institute guided the participants about theory and practical aspects of the course. Total of 32 participants successfully completed this course after giving their theory and practical examinations. The mission of AHA to save human life from emergency cardiorespiratory situations has been continued by conducting this course in our Institute. Our Institute has made it mandatory for our undergraduate and postgraduate students to attain this AHA BLS provider certification course and to be in the path of human life saving mission.
