Srinivas University, Institute of Physiotherapy along with its sister Institution, Institute of Education celebrated the onam festival “ARMADHAM 2024” on 18th September 2024 at City campus, Pandeshwar. Deans and faculty from both the institutions witnessed the events organised by the student council. A Pookalam was created by the student teachers of Institute of education. Dr. Ajay Kumar, Registrar (Development) graced the occasion with his presence and inaugurated the event with the traditional lamp lighting ceremony. The event started with the traditional Thiruvathira Kali performed by the students of IPT followed by other cultural performances from both the Institutions. The chenda team “Brahmari” added more flavour to the event. The highlight of the event was the grand Onam Sadhya, a traditional feast served on banana leaves. To add a touch of excitement and fun, various traditional games were organized such as tug of war, Uriyadi etc. Students participated in these events enthusiastically. These games not only entertained the participants but also promoted teamwork, physical fitness, and a sense of healthy competition. Armadham 2024 at Institute of Physiotherapy was a grand success, bringing together students, faculty, and staff members to rejoice in the spirit of unity and cultural diversity.
