Institute of Physiotherapy, Srinivas University organized one day hands on workshop on Clinical Pilates for Low Back pain (LBP) based on Anatomical Trains on 26th October 2024. Dr. S. Iyyappan, DO (Italy), MPT (Ortho), Founder, LIME PARRC, Tiruppur, Tamilnadu was the resource person.Dean Dr. Rajasekar S inaugurated the workshop by welcoming the resource person and participants with the message of importance of Pilates training for treating various pain related conditions in physiotherapy field. 40 participants including 8 faculty members and 19 MPT I year students and 13 DPT final year students had attended the workshop.Concepts about Pilates training for low back pain and hands on practical demonstrations were effectively taught by the resource person. This skill based workshop got great feedback by the participants and they urged the organising team to conduct more of this kind of workshops in future to enhance their clinical skills. After successful completion of this workshop, valedictory function and participants’ certificates were distributed. Dr. M. Premkumar, coordinator of this workshop delivered the vote of thanks.
