Report on Wealth out of waste competition 8th June 2024, on behalf of World Environmental Day, Institute of Physiotherapy Srinivas University has conducted a wealth out of waste competition to promote sustainability and environmental consciousness among students. This event aimed to encourage students to find innovative ways to repurpose waste materials into valuable products, fostering creativity and eco-friendly practices.Different group of students of BPT actively participated. A total of six teams registered, each comprising three students. Participants ranged from first-year students to final-year students, showcasing a diverse range of ideas and projects.Based on their choice of items, number of items used, creativity, complete utilization, and the information on importance of their product through presentation, the panel of judges, Dr. Jayashree Bolar, Assistant Registrar, Srinivas University and Professor Pavana, Dean, AHS Srinivas University) evaluated the displayed projects. The top project was awarded with cash prize and certificate. The winners were: Ravishankar and team from 2nd semester BPT.The “Wealth out of Waste” competition was a resounding success, achieving its goal of promoting sustainability and creativity among students. The event not only provided a platform for students to showcase their talents but also highlighted the importance of responsible waste management. The innovative projects displayed are a testament to the potential of young minds in contributing to a greener and more sustainable future.
