Institute of physiotherapy Srinivas University, city campus Pandeshwar in collaboration with Mangalore city police organised a Musculoskeletal Physiotherapy camp for police personnel on 4th September 2024 at City Commissioner’s office, Pandeshwar Mangaluru. The camp was aimed to assess and manage the various musculoskeletal conditions. Dr. Rajasekar S, Dean, Institute of Physiotherapy, Srinivas University addressed the gathering regarding the importance of physiotherapy and the how one can manage the various types of pain. Dr. Maduripu P , Dr. Nikitha , Dr. Glenisha Dsouza, Dr. Mohammed Irfan, Dr. Jahnavi Salian, faculty of IPT along with PGs specialized in Musculoskeletal Physiotherapy and community Physiotherapy assessed around 40 police personnel with musculoskeletal complaints. Acute management was given and were advised for home exercises. Anybody requiring further management were suggested to come to Physiotherapy OPD at Institute of Physiotherapy, City campus Pandeshwar.
