In a significant move towards advancing neuro rehabilitation for stroke patients, Srinivas University Institute of Physiotherapy organized a one-day national-level conference Neurocon 2023- Insights into Stroke Recovery and Rehabilitation on 15th July 2023.The conference, which took place at the esteemed Hotel Saffron Srinivas, drew an impressive attendance of approximately 125 delegates hailing from various colleges. The event commenced with a welcome address by Dr. Rajasekar S, Dean Institute of Physiotherapy followed by inauguration, graced by the presence of the Srinivas University honourable pro Chancellor Dr. Srinivas Rao and guest of Honour, Adithya kumar Mayia, Srinivas University registrar (Academics). Among the special invitees were also respected individuals such as, Dr Ajay Kumar, Srinivas University registrar (Development).Neurocon 2023 conference briefing was done by Dr. Thrishala Noronha, Associate Professor and Organising Secretary of Neuron 2023. During this occasion there was also book release of the conference proceedings of Procardio 2022 which was coordinated by Dr. Premkumar M, organizing Secretary of Procardio 2022. The formal ceremony ended with the vote of thanks delivered by Dr. Premkumar M, Associate professor of Institute of Physiotherapy.Post inaugural session was taken over by the speakers who shared their insights and expertise on stroke recovery and rehabilitation. In addition to this, there was scientific poster presentation for the undergraduate and postgraduate students and the winners were awarded with cash prizes.
