Department of Social Sciences and Humanities, Srinivas University, City Campus, Pandeshwar, organized a National level Conference on the theme RESEARCH IN HIGHER EDUCATION, LEARNING AND ADMINISTRATION was organized in the college on 15th June 2019 (Saturday) at Pandeshwara Campus. The Inaugurator of the Conference was Dr. K.V. Rao, Director, Pilikula Nisargadhama Regional Research Center spoke that Systematic education is very important. Each Government gives a prominence role to education. The Guest of Honour for the function was Prof. V Gopinathan, Principal, Triveni Arts and Science College, Kasaragod. In his speech, he opined that there are no barriers to any subject. Demand, availability, sustainable development of the education must be followed by each one of us. Dr. P.S. Aithal, Vice Chancellor of Srinivas University was presided over the function. Dr. Aithal in his address stressed that it is must to facilitate the use of research based education in our system, which must be centralized on multi fields. Faculties should engage themselves in research and they should develop it on their curriculum. The Convener of the Conference Dr. Laveena D'Mello was present on the stage. Prof. Pradeep M.D., Faculty of Social Work department introduced the theme of the Conference to the delegates. The proceedings of the previous Conference was released along with the Abstract proceedings of the current Conference. The research scholars and teaching faculties from Srinivas University had presented the papers in the conference. More than 50 research papers were received and presented in the conference. All the papers presented will be published after review in international journals along with ISBN proceedings.
