EXAMINATION

Total Internal Assessment Marks	50 marks (per Subject)
1st Internal Examination [Examination shall be conducted for 20 marks, of which 5 marks are MCQ’s (all are compulsory) 15 marks descriptive (3 questions to be attempted out of 5)]	20 marks
2nd Internal Examination [Examination shall be conducted for 20 marks, of which 5 marks are MCQ’s (all are compulsory) 15 marks descriptive (3 questions to be attempted out of 5)]	20 marks
3rd Internal Examination (Third IA Examination is like a Model exam of the entire portion for 50 marks and it will be reduced to 40 marks.Each module carries weightage of 10 marks, of which, two marks are for MCQ’s and 8 marks descriptive)	40 marks
Assignment, Presentation, Seminar, Quiz etc	10 marks
Attendance	10 marks
Total	100 marks (which will be converted to 50)
Note: EVS, English and CIPE will contain MC questions only

Final End Semester Examinations
Total marks	50 marks

Question paper has Maximum marks of 50, in which 40 marks for descriptive and 10 marks for objective type questions (Total 5 Modules and One full question from each Module to be answered).
In descriptive type, two full questions will appear from each module and carries 8 marks each. Students have to answer one full question from each module. There shall be a maximum of three subdivisions in each question.
In objective type, 2 questions will appear from each module. (All questions are compulsory)
The students should get minimum 25 marks in end semester examination in order to pass in the particular subject and minimum 25 marks in the internal assessment in order to get eligibility to write end semester examination in the particular subject.
