About the Department

Welcome to the Institute of Engineering and Technology. The Institute of Engineering & Technology is a constituent college under Srinivas University and was established with the aim of providing international standards in education and training and hence to prepare graduates with Knowledge and Skills in the emerging fields of Engineering. The Institute seeks to combine excellence in education with service to the industry. Our goal is to provide students with a balance of intellectual and practical experiences that enable them to serve a variety of societal needs.

We are having hard-working students, a young and dynamic faculty, whose expertise spans the range of disciplines in various streams of engineering, and a very healthy work-culture are the basic elements of the institution.

We hold a firm belief in our ability to succeed, and we nurture an attitude of self-reliance, confidence, commitment, and responsibility in the motherland that we are to serve. I am confident that our students would justify the credibility of the department by showing a high level of professional competence in their respective fields.

Programme Educational Objectives (PEOs)

Computer Science and Engineering graduates able to
PEO1 Analyze design, develop and testing the software solutions and products with creativity and sustainability to resolve real time applications with the help of trans-disciplinary research
PEO2 Use of modern tools for designing the optimal solutions for the critical problems as per the industrial and societal requirements with the global standards.
PEO3 Demonstrate the managerial and leadership skills for career and starting up own firms with proper code of ethics.

Program Specific Outcomes (PSOs)

Computer Science and Engineering Graduates will be able to
PSO1 Develop creative solutions by adapting emerging technologies and tools for real time applications of the Societal needs
PSO2 Apply the acquired knowledge to develop problem solving skills to provide the optimal solutions and innovative applications for any real time problems.

Programme Outcomes (POs)

Computer Science and Engineering Graduates will be able to
PO1 Engineering knowledge: Apply the knowledge of mathematics including numerical methods, physical science and allied engineering fundamentals, in Computer Science and Engineering
PO2 Problem analysis: Identify and formulate, experiment and analyse data, for interpreting Computer Science and Engineering problems
PO3 Design/development of solutions: Design solutions for complex engineering problems and design system components or processes that meet specific needs including data safety, economy, social and environmental considerations
PO4 Conduct investigations of complex problems: Think critically, conduct experiments including design and analyze; Suggest solution for complex engineering problems
PO5 Modern tool usage: Select and apply appropriate techniques, resources, and modern engineering tools, for design, modeling to complex engineering activities with an understanding of limitations
PO6 The engineer and society: Apply novel techniques for safety and economical issues, and to assume social responsibilities relevant to the professional engineering practice
PO7 Environment and sustainability: Understand the impact of the professional engineering solutions in societal and environmental contexts, and demonstrate the knowledge of, and need for sustainable development
