Unnat Bharat Abhiyan, Srinivas University, Srinivas Institute of Rural Reconstruction Agency (SIRRA) in association with Srinivas Hospital and Research Centre, Mukka organized a “Child & Parent Health Awareness Programme” at Government Higher Primary School, Sasihithlu in celebration of Children's day on 14th November, 2019. All the students of M.S.W participated in the progrmme. Mr. Bhaskar, PRO, Srinivas Hospital & Research Centre, Mukka, Mangalore, Dr. Blanch Barnes, Director, Komal Sparsh Counselling Centre, Falnir Mangalore, Mr. Nagarj. M, Block Resource Person, Education Department, Gandhi Nagar, Mangalore and Mr. Venu, Community leader were the chief guest for the Programme. After the formal inaugural programme a lecture was given on the topic “Women Health” by Dr. Vidhya N, Coordinator, SIRRA, Srinivas University to the women of that Community. A General Health Check up Camp was also organized. Around 55 People participated and benefitted from the programme.

Objectives of the Programme:

1. To give Awareness on Health Issues

2. To provide General Health Care Services.

3. To exposure Students to Community Issues.

Financial Base of the Programme:

Komalsparsh Counselling Centre, Falnir provided Refreshment and Gifts to the participants and Srinivas Hospital & Research Centre, Mukka, Mangalore organized Medical Camp.
