A 1-day National Conference on \"Recent trends in Civil Engineering\" was Organized by the Department of Civil Engineering, Srinivas University College of Engineering and Technology (SUCET), Mukka, Mangaluru on Monday 23\'rd September 2019. Dr. B.H.V Pai, Joint Director, MIT Manipal was the Chief Guest inaugurated the function and delivered the key note address. Hon\'ble Chancellor of Srinivas University Sri CA A Raghavendra Rao Presided over the program. Dr. Anil Kumar (Registrar, Srinivas University), Dr. Thomas Pinto (Dean, SUCET), Dr. Praveen B.
