Documents Required for KCET Registration 2025

Candidate are required below mentioned documents to fill KCET application form.

1. SSLC/10th class marks card to enter registration number and date of birth.
2. 12th/2nd PUC marks card (In case of previous year students).
3. All the reservation certificates to enter RD number/caste (Category, Income, Non-creamy layer candidates (NCLC), Hyderabad-Karnataka (HK) candidates).
4. Details of studying in Karnataka.
5. Candidate latest photograph in JPG format (Maximum size of 50 KB).
6. Candidate signature in JPD format (Maximum size of 50 KB).
7. Candidate left hand thumb impression in JPG format (Maximum size of 50 KB).

1 SSLC/10th Standard Marks Card Required to prove your age and date of birth.
2 2nd PUC/12th Standard Marks Card After the announcement of 2nd PU/12th Results, the candidate must obtain the signature of the principal of the institution on the provisional marks card. Internet downloaded marks statements will not be accepted.
3 SEVEN Years Study Certificate Certificate to prove that the candidate has studied in Karnataka for a minimum of 7 years from 1st to 12th standard or qualifying exam, issued by the Head of the institution. This certificate should be countersigned by the concerned Block Educational Officer (BEO) / Deputy Director of Public Instructions (DDPI).
4 Kannada Medium Certificate Candidates who have studied in Kannada medium from 1st to 10th standard in Karnataka and outside the state need a certificate confirming the same, countersigned by the BEO/DDPI.
5 Rural Study Certificate Candidates claiming a rural category seat need to provide a certificate showing that they studied in rural areas for 10 full academic years from 1st to 10th standard, countersigned by the concerned BEO.
6 Caste Certificate Required for candidates seeking reservation benefits. Caste Certificate should be in the name of the candidate and must be issued by the concerned jurisdictional Tahsildar.
7 Income Certificate Required for candidates claiming Supernumerary Quota seats or for those with an annual income less than Rs. 8.00 Lakhs.
8 Kalyana- Karnataka Region Certificate For candidates claiming reservation under Article 371 (j), the certificate must be issued by the concerned Assistant Commissioner.
9 Parent’s Documents For candidates claiming eligibility based on their parent’s domicile, study, or employment, documents like Parent’s Study Certificate, Parent’s Employment Certificate, or Parent’s Marks Card may be required.
10 Affidavit For candidates claiming eligibility under Horanadu and Gadinadu Kannadiga clauses C and D.
11 Identity Card For candidates claiming eligibility for Government seats under the Jammu & Kashmir Migrants quota.
12 Special Category Certificates For candidates applying under special categories like NCC, Sports, Defence, Ex-Defence, CAPF, Ex-CAPF, AGL, Scouts & Guides.
13 Religious Minority Certificate For religious minority candidates (Christian or Muslim), this certificate is required for Medical and Dental courses.
14 Linguistic Minority Certificate For candidates claiming linguistic minority status (Tamil, Telugu, Kodava, Tulu) in Medical and Dental courses.

Candidates are advised to ensure that all documents are valid and in the prescribed formats before submission.
