Mangaluru, February 12 : The Srinivas group of colleges is celebrating its 32^nd year of establishment. Two days programme including Founder’s Day & College Day for Srinivas University & Srinivas Group of Colleges has been organized at Srinivas University Campus, Srinivas Nagar, Mukka on 14^th & 15^th of February, 2019.

Sri Kota Srinivas Poojary, Hon’ble Minister of Muzrai, Fisharies, Ports and Inland water transport & Dakshina Kannada district – in – Charge will be the inaugurator and Dr. Selvamani R., Dakshina Kannada Zilla Panchayath Chief Executive Officer (CEO) will be the Chief guest of the programme on 14^th February 2020.

The talents day for the students of Srinivas Group of Colleges will be held on 15^th February 2020.

Sri CA A. Raghavendra Rao, Chancellor, Srinivas University, Mangaluru & President, A. Shama Rao Foundation, Mangaluru will preside over the function and Dr. A. Srinivas Rao will be the guest of honour for the programme.

A.SHAMA RAO MEMORIAL OUTSTANDING TEACHER AWARD & A. SHAMA RAO AWARD – 2020 :

Dr. Raghavendra Rao, Sanskrit Teacher, Padubidri Ganapathi High School, Padubidri & Miss. Kasturi, Music teacher, Sri SDM Mangala Jyothi High School, Vamanjoor are selected for A. Shama Rao Memorial Outstanding Teacher Award-2020 for their contribution in the field of education in undivided D.K. District. Girish Bharadwaj, a Social Worker often referred as Sethu Bandhu and Bridgeman of India for building around 127 low cost and eco-friendly bridges in remote villages across India for his contribution in the field of social work. These awards will be conferred on February 14^th 2020 during Founder’s Day celebrations at Srinivas University Campus, Srinivas Nagar, Mukka, Mangaluru as detailed by Dr. A.R. Shabaraya, Convener, A.Shama Rao Foundation Awards Screening Committee.
